Spirit Statement

I am the grandchild of two residential school survivors from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory and Serpent River First Nation. I have finished my third year of mechanical engineering at the University of Toronto with the goal of completing a minor in sustainable energy.

I am currently doing my Professional Experience Year co-op to get more experience before finishing my degree.

It is important for me to work in the Indigenous energy field because climate change often disproportionally effects marginalized groups and I would like to promote reconciliation through my efforts in my career and academics.

I enjoy spending time in nature with my friends and family so it is also important to me that future generations can have the same opportunities.
