The webinar will highlight two Indigenous-led projects to recreate natural spaces along major waterways (the St. Lawrence River and the St. Clair River) that have been impacted by historical and ongoing colonial development. We will hear from experts and leaders from the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (Tekakwitha Island and Bay Restoration Project) and Walpole Island First Nation (Swan Lake Marsh rehabilitation).
