Boyd is a proud member of Hiawatha First Nation near Rice Lake. His family has very strong roots in the area, and he is happy to call Peterborough home.

Growing up in Peterborough, Boyd has always loved the sense of community and he will bring that feeling into everything he does. Growing up playing hockey and lacrosse in the Peterborough area, Boyd has always prided himself on being a team player and enjoyed being part of a team.

 

Boyd is drawn both academically and professionally to finding meaningful solutions and working towards completing a common goal. Boyd’s experience in the public and private sector working on major projects will be a valuable asset to the team at CIPS.

We are excited to have another Indigenous professional join our team that is committed to undertaking meaningful work within our communities.
